We had over 150 guests at our last meetup and are continuing to grow rapidly as Houston's largest AI group! Whether you're an AI beginner or just finished building your latest AI agent, the Houston AI club is the best place in town to learn, connect, network, and grow your AI skills. Join us for incredible presentations on AI, networking, and food! We are a growing community of over 3000 students, executives, and AI professionals looking to connect and learn about AI! **Event Details** April 2nd, 2026 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST **17th Floor at 801 Travis St,** Houston, TX 77002 **Schedule** * 6:00 - 6:25 PM: Check-in, Refreshments and Networking * 6:25 - 6:35 PM Announcements & What’s new in AI this month * 6:35 - 7:00 PM: Ian Fortney: Getting the most out of AI as a sales rep * 7:00 - 7:30 PM: Joshua Koehler: LLMs from First Principles We'll start from ground zero to demystify how Large Language Models are designed, trained, and deployed. * 7:40 - 8:00 PM: Q&A, Wrap-up, and Networking **Parking Instructions (VERY IMPORTANT)** Parking is available in the 801 Travis St garage off Rusk St and will be discounted to $5 when you attend the event. The entrance to the parking garage is off Rusk street. 1. Google Maps and Park in the "**801 Travis St Garage**" (any floor after 5:30 PM) 2. Walk to the center of the garage and scan the Metropolis Parking QR Code (discount code will be provided during the meetup) 3. Take elevators down to the G floor 4. Walk across the hallway to the other elevators which will take you to the 17th floor **Arrival Time & Refreshments** **Please arrive as close to 6:00 PM as possible.** We'll have a brief period for food and networking, then begin presentations promptly at 6:30 PM. We will be serving sandwiches, chips, cookies, and a veggie tray for all attendees.
